In Part 1, we look at the arm drag from the seated guard. Using the far side leg to kick out our opponents knee will help us more efficiently take the back.

In Part 2, we will start using our opponents reactions against them by using their pull back out of the arm drag to set up our double overhook position, which will lead to strong butterfly sweeps in both directions.

In Part 3, we will explore setting up the darce from our opponents unwillingness to concede the reverse course sweep.

In Part 4, we will look at establishing a 2 on 1 from the seated guard. This grip can be established when the opponent is hiding their arms from the initial arm drag we worked in part 1. From there we will look to elevate our opponents and quickly take the back.

In Part 5, we will wrap up the instructional with a look at the cross body control position from the back. This is a great option when your opponent goes 2 on 1 on your choking arm and attempts to escape be bringing it across their body. From this cross body position, we will look at options to transition to the knee slice pass, apply a neck crank, or re-take the back and attack the choke.
